Pulled this card AFTER I wrote this blog. Thanks Universe <3
To change your life you need to DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT.
You need to disrupt the pattern of what you have been doing or what you are doing on a daily basis that got you to this point.
STOP BEING A VICTIM OF YOUR LIFE! What if we saw everything that "happened" to us as an opportunity to learn, to grow, to take something from it?
No matter what your circumstance, you have the opportunity and choice to do what you wish to do with that information. YES, it can be VERY hard, but as we have all heard before, thats how diamonds are formed and thats how the good become great. The pressure can either be suppressed or expressed but eventually it is going to hurt you or help you because it has to escape somehow.
WHAT DO YOU WANT?! Do you want happiness for yourself? Then you have to do something new. What have you done lately to PUSH yourself? To challenge yourself? You KNOW there has been a pull, a little voice within trying to reach you and bring you to something different. If you want to feel differently, you must do something differently.
I was talking to someone recently and they asked for advice on how to make a shift, how to change their mental state, I gave some suggestions and their reply was... "yeah, but what else?"... anndddd there you go, right back to playing it safe, trying to find the easy way through. If you are not willing to challenge yourself past what you think you are able no matter WHAT your circumstance you will keep getting the same results. IT IS NOT EASY, (at first!) but when you start taking those small steps they start to become huge shifts. Its usually not going to happen overnight and it will take continuous steps forward, but MANNNN OH MAN is it worth it.
I invite you to try something new today. Something that feels like a challenge, a bit uncomfortable but is a bit exciting as well. You are your only limitation and you have the POWER to bring this change to your life IF YOU WANT IT BAD ENOUGH.
Examples that I have used that got me out of extreme anxiety, panic, depression, frustration, victim mentality, people pleasing, fear, numbness, numbing and more...

Accept EXACTLY where you are and be honest with the negative mindset you might be covering up through false positive thinking.
GIVE YOURSELF LOVE. This is probably the most important thing i didn't realize I needed. Meeting myself exactly where I am and LOVING myself there. Anger? Love yourself here. Sadness, give yourself love. Numb, anxiety, stuck, hopeless? LOVE LOVE LOVE. Without needed to change anything in that moment while you FULLY FEEL IT ALL and give yourself love.
PUT UP BOUNDARIES even when and especially when they are hard
Take a cold shower or end your shower with cold water
DAAAANNNCCCEEEEEEE. If this is uncomfortable start with small, slow sways and movements.
BREATHWORK BREATHWORK BREATHWORK and then do breathwork again
Just take action. In the exact moment you feel the pull DO IT THEN. Stop with all the choices and overthinking it. Do it. Now.
Sit in silence. It is VERY uncomfortable but again do something you don't usually do. Do this without judging yourself.

Again, this work is not easy. If you are at the point in your life where you are saying "it's not THAT bad." and you do not want to make different choices, no worries, you can always return here when the pressure has built and you can no longer take it, but I wouldn't till then, it is not fun. Start now. Make moves. Disrupt the patterns. Change your life.
With so much love,
Emily
